The Oddessey - An Interlude

Well here we are on our first night in Shanghai, weary and one wallet lighter. Yes the good pickpockets could see the heavy load and decided that they would do what little they could to help me bless 'em. I will say this though, they are good. Nothing major was nicked, just my debit card and a wallet I rather liked.

Japan, it aint. The feeling of being able to walk around with a hat made of gold and pants made of dollar bills safely at three in the morning is not present here. Ahh well. Shanghai is a fantastic city nonetheless and when I am less tired, I shall wow you all with tales of a sea voyage with 100 chinese tourists and a very cheap beer called REEB.......
